CHRYSOLAB
Chrysodeixis chalcites is a polyvoltine and polyphagous species that feeds on the foliage and fruit of vegetable, fruit, and ornamental crops.
Biological cycle: With up to seven or eight overlapping generations per year. Present in greenhouses throughout the year, with two predominant flight periods in spring and autumn.
Damage: The polyphagous larvae feed preferentially on young plants; however, the most sensitive growth periods are from transplanting to the early foliar stages, as well as during flowering and fruiting. They can completely devour the leaves and affect the fruit (pepper and tomato). In ornamental plants, aesthetic damage drastically reduces their market value.
CONTROL MANAGEMENT
The use of pheromones in pest monitoring allows for understanding their distribution and population density, facilitating early detection in crops. This enables the establishment of capture thresholds to implement control measures.
FORMULATION
The product CHRYSOLAB is a capsule with sex pheromone for monitoring the flight of Ch. chalcites.
The diffuser material is permeable to vapors, thus allowing the product to be released at a controlled rate.
The emission duration of CHRYSOLAB is 45 days (6-7 weeks).
APPLICATION
Placement of: 3 traps per hectare
1 capsule per delta trap.
Very important, do not open the vial.
HANDLING AND STORAGE
